The AICM currently has 4 dorms in operation. The Eagles Nest houses our boys of all ages. The Hope House ministers to the high school girls, Rainbow House cares for out middle school girls and
the Princess Palace houses the youngest girls. Each of these houses has their own unique personalities as they are tailored to the individual children and take on the house parents personality as
well. The Student Life Ministry strives to provide a home away from home. We work very closely with the families in order to truly know the child and their individual
needs and struggles. This is a joy and a struggle as often what we teach and what is modeled at home are different. A house parent as any caregiver does, has many roles to fill the easiest way to
describe it is extreme parenting.
A scripture that holds true to the essence of our work is Genesis 18:19 “ For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by
doing what is right and just, so that the LORD will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him” in keeping with this scripture we try to become families within the mission. The bonds that
develop within the students and staff are very tight, as we live life together.
Activities that our dorms might be found doing are similar to any family. There is time to work and complete chores, to serve others, worship times, fun and games, homework,
sports and other activities and simply relaxing.
