In the summer of 2007, we were able to conduct 6 weeks of Summer Enrichment Programs on our campus.

Through these programs, children from both the Apache and Navajo Nations were reached with the gospel of Christ.

We have 6 weeks of camp on our calendar for 2008. As with our school, we want to expand our summer programs and reach older students. For the second year, we will have a week of camp specifically for high school students.

Please be in prayer for the groups who will be staffing our Summer Enrichment Programs as they plan and prepare. Pray also that many lives will be touched for Him.

       Since the early 1980’s, AICM has hosted summer enrichment programs for Native American children. As soon as school is out, volunteers from across the country come to AICM’s campus to conduct these sessions for us.

     Children are brought in from the reservations and enjoy Bible lessons, praise and worship services, crafts, sports and recreation and lots of swimming.

     Due to their participation and experiences in the summer programs, several children have returned and become students at the mission’s boarding school.
