By the year 2012, AICM:Will have an accredited K-12 Christian Educational program. This program may provide a combination day and boarding school with approximately 200 students. The high school program will provide both academic college preparation, as well as relevant vocational training. Will have established a scholarship for American Indian Christian School (AICS) graduates. Scholarships will be provided to eligible students for post-secondary Christian Education and/or ministry service preparation. Will provide a Student Life program to foster the physical, psychological and spiritual growth of our students. Will have established a minimum of one partnership with an organization engaged in ministry to Native Americans that is in harmony with our doctrinal guidelines and ministry vision. Partnerships are established so that effective and comprehensive ministry to Native Americans will be enhanced. Will have established an Outreach Ministry to address both the social and physical needs of AICS families and Native American communities. Will provide summer programs serving 1000 Native American children and youth. Mission staff will be comprised of 50% Native Americans. Mission staff salaries will be paid directly through the annual AICM budget. A Human Resource program will be established to address the needs of AICM and AICM ministry staff. Will have established an endowment fund to underwrite the operation of the annual AICM budget. The Mission Statement and Vision for the American Indian Christian Mission have been developed by the Board of Directors and staff of AICM. This document will be reviewed, and a Mission Action Plan will be annually prepared to make the Vision become a reality. |
